Can I pay with a credit card?

▸ Yes, we accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover. Payment will be processed at the destination.

Do you have bathrooms/changing facilities?

▸ Most of the lakes in Clark County offer these facilities but please check ahead to ensure your destination does.

Do you have lockers to store my personal items?

▸ No, but we can hang onto your keys while you are out on the water. We suggest keeping valuables at home or bringing a dry bag to strap onto your kayak or SUP.

Do I need to be in shape to rent a SUP/Kayak?

▸ It does take physical work, but paddlers of all ages and fitness levels have rented the equipment and had loads of fun.

Do I need a life-jacket/PFD (Personal Floatation Device)?

▸ WASUPNW provides PFDs for every paddler. It's your choice of whether you wear it or not.

Can children rent a paddle board and/or kayak?

▸ Minors under the age of 12 can paddle board/kayak as long as the parent/guardian renter is alongside of them for the duration of use.

What if I'm running late?

▸ Running late - give us a heads up. Unless you have notified us of delays, we will release your reservation after 10 minutes past your appointment.

What if I'm late returning my rentals?

▸ Any rental returned a HALF-HOUR PAST DUE time will be charged an additional $25

▸ Any rental returned an HOUR PAST DUE TIME will be charged an additional $50 the first hour, and $100 each hour thereafter.

3 items are required to rent our equipment:

A valid Washington Driver’s license or government issued PHOTO ID.

Cash or a credit card in the same name as photo ID for payment.

A positive attitude and an adventurous spirit 😊

Additional Information

▸ Leave valuables. Please leave your valuables at home or very well hidden within your vehicle. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items. WASUPNW will gladly hold your keys in one of our lock boxes while you are the water, but we are unable to hold any other personal items. If you own a dry bag, that's a great way to hold onto your personal items and keep them safely strapped to your kayak or SUP.

Please read for your knowledge & safety:

▸ Rates are by the hour. We collect the first hour up front. Any time over the first hour is charged to you when you return.

▸ Rentals are first come first serve unless you have made a reservation.

▸ Children under the age of 12 using a SUP or kayak must have an adult in the water for the duration of the rental. Minors 13-17 may use a SUP or kayak without a parent in the water as long as a waiver is signed.

▸ Renters are financially responsible for injuries and lost or damaged equipment.

SAFETY

▸ We provide lifejackets (PFDs) for each paddler. Each person must have a lifejacket on board. Children under the age of 13 MUST wear a PFD at all times.

▸ Sun protection. Even here in the Pacific Northwest, while cloudy many days, you can still get sunburned so prepare adequately with shade clothing and/or sunscreen.

▸ Hydrate. Bring a water bottle to keep yourself hydrated while out on the water.

▸ Ankle leash MUST be worn at all times.

▸ Paddlers must start and finish on their knees for safety.

▸ No beaching the board. Shallow water can break the fin of the board.

▸ Only one person per paddle board.

▸Customer safety is our first priority. If the weather turns unsafe while you are out on the lake, head back in immediately.

▸ No rentals may go out if there is lightening, thunder, high wind, or dense fog.

▸ If conditions turn windy and you are having a hard time paddling back, sit on your board and paddle back to shore.
